After Hours Customer Service Representative (AE)

WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:
- Possess the ability to navigate and is fully efficient in Kam-Way’s operating system- TMW
- Ability to work very closely with Carrier Sales and Account Executive to ensure on time delivery.
- Ability to input loads from scratch and determine necessary changes for service requests.
- Book pickup and delivery appointments as per Customer Requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Contact, track and record progress on freight being moved, and accurately check calls in TMW
- Contact assigned customers and give daily updates on freight being moved.
- Responsible for requesting dentations/ layovers from the customer when needed
- Provide specific monthly reports to Team Lead regarding detentions, layovers, rejections and claims
- Have the knowledge, or ability to learn how, to process customs border paper work for the team and Prioritize loads that require PAPS, PARS, ACI, & ACE
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Driver Manager

As Driver Manager you will be reporting to the Fleet Supervisor. This role oversees all aspects of daily driver management with the goals of achieving optimum efficiency for our company and our customers, while maintaining the well-being and motivation of our drivers.

This position is located at our corporate office in Blaine, WA (appx 100 miles north of Seattle). This is NOT a remote position.
WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:
- Following up with drivers daily through text and calls by 0900 and throughout the day. Any concerns are communicated immediately to the respective team.
- Building relationships with drivers & learning how they operate individually.
- Understanding the drivers dispatch, verifying they can successfully complete the assignment. Understanding the geography, weather & routes they will take.
- Ensuring dispatches are sent accurately by 1400 daily.
- Updating TMW (the Kam-Way Transport Management System) in real time with daily events, check calls, while ensuring all information is correct.
- Updating TMW with driver RDO & PTA’s (Requested day off & Projected Ready time)
- Understanding & auditing weekly driver payroll. Advising payroll department by 11am every Tuesday morning
- Running daily beaming truck / trailer reports & fixing any beaming miles accordingly
- Pulling weekly truck revenue reports for drivers. Holding one-on-one discussions with the drivers to make sure they are in line to reach their minimum monthly mileage goals.
- Holding drivers accountable for their daily assignments & holding them up to the company standards through proper documentation/ write-ups
- Following up on any maintenance issues daily to make sure drivers are being taken care of in a timely manner
- Coaching and reminding drivers to certify logs weekly, to ensure compliance with Federal regulations
- Coordinating with Driver Safety Dept to ensure that random drug tests conducted in a timely manner.
- Other duties as requested by the supervisor
